ZENTOR®

 Rebar Splice

Precision is the key on the way to quality

ZENTOR ®  Rebar Splicing System are normally made from the connection of 2 couplers, both are crimped onto the Rebar. Additional intermediante connectors allow all special requirements.

During Crimping, the internal structure of the coupler connects optimally with the rebar without reducing its cross-section. The basic structure of the rebar is thus preserved in the best possible way to ensure that the maximum load-bearing capacity is guaranted. Rebar connections with ZENTOR ® Couplers create a secured mechanical interlock that is greater than the rebar strength itself and meets the high-performance requirements in areas subject to effects of seismic activity and dynamic situations for rebar diameter 10-40mm up to  fyk=550N/mm2 (B550B).

Standard Connection  ‚S‘

The standard connection is used to connect 2 rebars, which are freely rotatable and have the same nominal diameter. Alternatively, the connection can also be made via the AT bolt in the Transistion Connection 'T'.

Details

Bridge Connection  ‚B‘

Bridge Connection is used to connect two non-freely rotatable rebars that are conditionally axially displaceable. The distance to be bridged can be intercepted with the coupler FE, which is set via the bolt AB and fixed with the coupler FS.

Details

Transition Connection ‚T‘

The transition connection is used when reducing/expanding or using the same rebar diameter in a connection, where both connecting bars are freely rotatable.

Details

Coupler Connection ‚C‘

Coupler Connection is used to connect 2 male rebars, which can be freely rotated and have the same nominal diameter

Steel Connection ‚A‘

The steel  connection coupler FA is used to connect a rebar to a metric standard thread. Preferred use in steel construction.

Details

Terminator ‚E‘

The ZENTOR® Terminator coupler MT serves to transfer the bar forces in the concrete. This allows hooks and loops be avoided when forming the anchorage. The connection consists of a connecting bar and a anchor plate.
